Another week begins

We had a few new lads in tonight. the way we work it down at the club is new lads come on a Monday night, that way I can spend some time teaching the basics. When they have picked up the basics well enough they are invited to come on a Wednesday and Friday as well.
It has to be like this really as I have spent time on loads of lads since we opened, I take all the names and there (including tonight) have been 80 odd boys come to the club. unfortunately most don't stick it. the problem is that boxing is not what they expect, its hard work for one thing, and it takes a lot of dedication. A lot do a few weeks then don't come back.
But, if they are not tough enough to train, then they are not tough enough to fight. Simple as that, and experience tells me that you can never tell which boys will come good, i often get surprised by those who fall away and by those who stick at it.
Respect to those who stay.

I have heard a few complaints that some of the lads didn't get nick names on the main page.

New website

I have just started this website, blog site or whatever it is and was wondering what to write. I started going down the history route but now can't be bothered.
I had to get a load of up-to-date photos to put on but will add more as time goes by.
We are open Mon and Wed 6.15-8.15 pm and Friday 5.00-6.30 pm and i have just started to do regular sparring nights with the boys who are capable on a Thursday.
Monday nights is 'new boy'night. If you show that you will be capable then I will let you come on the Wed and Fri as well, if you need more attention then its Monday only until further notice.
the cost is £4.00 a week no matter how many nights you come.
Any comments or questions then you know what to do.
